Q3 2010 Financial Results

Q1 & Q2 2010 financial Results

During the first half ending 30th June 2010, NIC reported a net profit of KD 6.17 million and EPS of 7 fils for the H1 2010. After registering a Profit of KD 3.46 million and EPS of 4 fils during the 1st quarter ending 30th March, a profit of KD 2.71 million and EPS of 3 fils was reported during the second quarter ending 30th June 2010.

2009 Financial Results

A shortage of liquidity within Kuwait and consequently a lowered confidence level contributed to the sluggish recovery process from the crisis. By the year ended 31st December 2009, NIC reported a loss of KD 26.08 Million and a loss per share of 31 fils. Assets under management demonstrated a year-on-year increase of 15% and stood at KD 2.57 billion by the close of the year.

Q2 & Q3 2009 Financial Results

The effects of the financial crisis witnessed by the world during the second half of 2008 continued well into 2009. NIC reported a net loss of KD 5.07 million and a loss per share of 6 fils during the 9 months ended 30 September 2009. After registering a loss of KD 3.86 million during the 1st quarter, a profit of KD 5.31 million and a loss of KD 6.52 million was reported during the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2009, respectively.

2008 Financial Results

National Investments Company announces the launch of Al-Mada Investment Fund

National Investments Company announced the launch of Al-Mada Investment Fund on 21st May, 2008. Established in the Kingdom of Bahrain the fund will actively invest in GCC sharia compliant listed equities with the objective of providing capital appreciation and income to its investors.
