And following our previous disclosures (last dated 04/10/2015), NIC announces receiving a letter from the liquidation committee of GIC (Gulf Investment Co. – Abahraini closed joint stock company under liquidation) stating that they are in the process of collecting an amount of 1 Million & hundred thousand Kuwaiti dinars in favor of the liquidation. The committee expects full payment to NIC before year end or beginning of next year being the only creditor for GIC.

The amount of One Million and hundred thousand Kuwaiti dinar will be recorded as profits in the income statement as of 31/12/2017.
