National Investments Company is announcing exit from its entire stake in Barwa, an Islamic bank in Qatar, which is licensed and regulated by the Qatar Central Bank.The exit transaction was done through a disposal of Barwa bank’s shares, for sale proceed amounted to QAR 38.40 million (equivalent to KD2.97Million) , which will record a net gain of QAR 9.58 million (equivalent to KD 742 thousand) on the disposal of NIC’s total holding in Barwa , that will be recorded in the third quarter of 2014.
